Our first skype with Sierra

Yesterday was our first skype with Sierra, it went really well. She is too silly!! We can't wait to have her home. Otherwise not to much else has happend although we have in the past day and a half gotten two feet of snow!! I can't wait to get Sierra home to be able to take her sledding!! It will be so much fun!!! I hated to say goodbye to her on Tuesday, she really wants to come with us, lol. Otherwise she is doing great!! Anyway, I will fill you all in tomorrow on whats new, the next time we get to see Sierra is on Sunday, we may even get to have dinner with her. Can't wait!!!

Seeing Sierra!!!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, we had a long day!! Saw Sierra today, and it was so great, the look on her face, and her smile, just says it all. She asked us questions and we talked a little, got more information about her, and the stuff that she likes. She is so perfect in everyway!! Then she showed us the house that she lives in now. Its a nice house! She kept asking when she was going to be able to come home with us, as well as how far away Polson was from Missoula. But we had a great visit yesterday. We also got to see her today, and we spent a couple hours with her today, from after she had school, and had a snack, then she did her homework and we read and then played with her, whatever she wanted to do. She again wanted to come home and kept asking us when. But it will take time for the transition. She didn't want us to go tonight, she was very sad, and was frustrated that we had to leave. But we are going to skype with her tomorrow. I will write again and let you know how that all goes. Thanks for following us on this incredible journey!!! Love to you all!!

We get to see Sierra tomorrow!!

Soooo tomorrow is Monday and we will get to see our little girl!!! I didn't do too much this weekend just hung out and started on a couple items for Sierra's room, I will post them as soon as they are done!! I have to retake my test for property management, but at least now I know what to expect, I always get nervous and sike myself out on things like that. Well anyway I will let you know what happens tomorrow, can't wait to see her!!

Just Another Day

So no new news today, I finished my property management classes today and I have my exam tomorrow, kinda nervous about  it, but it should be fine. I have learned a lot in four days. I went shopping today and got a few things, can't wait to get back to Polson tomorrow. I feel like I haven't been home for a long time, then back to Missoula on Monday!!! Super excited to get everything started. Anyway, I will update again tomorrow to let you all know if I passed my exam or not. :)

Our good news!!

Hey everyone, so for those of you who didn't or don't know, we are getting a new addition to our family!!! She is 8 years old and is beautiful in everyway!!! Her name is Sierra!! On the 4th of January I got a phone call and it was her Social worker telling me that they were going to place her with us. It was amazing and the best day of my life!!! I have always wanted to be a MOM. I decided to start this blog, because I want others to know the road that we will be going down at times won't be the smoothest, and I know family will want to know whats going on. I won't be able to contact everyone all at the same time.  Also with this blog, I will just be updating it everyday. I will try to post pictures as well. I'm thinking maybe I will do the 365 days of pictures too. I'm stealing that idea from one of my best friends!! Thanks Devin!!! Anyway if anyone has any other questions or anything please let me know. Can't wait to give you more information, we will be seeing her on Monday January 16th to let her know we are going to be her forever family!!!
